Meet Dr. Kary Marris

“Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.”

— Mother Teresa

I love this quote from Mother Teresa. Through the gift of orthodontics, I am able to share love through the smiles of my patients. It drives my passion for what I do: this ability to help someone smile in confidence and health.

Being an orthodontist is how I help people. I’ve been practicing since 2004 and look forward to coming to “work” every day.

Why Orthodontics?

Having orthodontic treatment can be transformative, and seeing that transformation occur, from visit to visit, is very exciting. I love how people become more comfortable with their appearance, and their self-esteem blossoms.

By the time we’re finished, they are more confident, happier, healthier, and they can’t stop smiling! Knowing they carry those smiles into the world and share them with others is incredibly fulfilling.

Education & Experience

Continuing Education

I regularly participate in continuing education in order to stay current on research, techniques, and technological advances. Orthodontics is an exciting field, with ongoing changes in treatment options and approaches to care.

My patients deserve the best results and an orthodontic experience that makes them smile when they look back on this time. Continuing education ensures I'm able to deliver both.

Outside of the Office

Originally from Rochester, New York, I moved to Florida in 1991 and love living here. Outside of work, I spend most of my free time with my husband Rod, children Lucas and Jacky, and our dogs, Carl and Buttercup (Princess Buttercup for those Princess Bride fans out there!).

Reading, traveling, and movies are some of my favorite not-at-work activities. I am a BIG fan of Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Firefly, to name a few! Shiny!
